- Chrome Extension Data: Our Chrome Extension may collect the URL of the webpage you are currently viewing when you explicitly activate the extension to analyze that page for Google AI Overview citation potential. This data is processed to provide you with the extension's functionality.
- Communication Data: If you contact us directly, we may receive additional information such as your name, email address, phone number, the contents of the message, and any other information you choose to provide.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect in various ways, including to:
- Provide and Maintain Our Service: To operate, provide, and maintain the SearchMorph website and its core functionality, which includes analyzing website URLs and competitor URLs for AI search visibility. This also includes providing the functionality of our Chrome Extension to help identify website URLs cited in Google AI Overview.
- Perform LLM Analysis: To send the content of the submitted URLs (from both the website and Chrome Extension) to various Large Language Models (LLMs) such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, Deepseek, and Grok to generate AI search visibility scores and audit reports.
- Improve and Personalize: To improve, personalize, and expand our services, including developing new features and functionalities based on user interactions and feedback.
- Understand Usage: To understand and analyze how you use our website and services.
- Communicate with You: To communicate with you, either directly or through one of our partners, for customer service, to provide you with updates and other information relating to the service, and for marketing and promotional purposes.
- Send Emails: To send you emails related to your account, service updates, or promotional offers.

Log Files
SearchMorph follows a standard procedure of using log files. These files log visitors when they visit websites. All hosting companies do this and a part of hosting services' analytics. The information collected by log files include internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks. These are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable.
